Wide receiver Bruce Ellington, who missed most of the 49ers’ offseason program due to a hamstring strain, appears to be ready for the opening of training camp next week.
Ellington appeared to be running at full speed on a video of a slant pattern during a workout with Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Tajh Boyd that was posted on his Instagram account.
Rookies are scheduled to report to 49ers training camp in Santa Clara on July 27. The full squad is required to report on July 31 with the first full-squad practice scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 1.
