The San Francisco 49ers season is slowly coming to a close, but the search for personnel never ends. Eric Branch is reporting the team hosted CFL wide receiver Eric Rogers for a workout on Monday. The Calgary Sun is reporting Rogers has visits planned with 11 teams, and has already met with the New England Patriots.
Rogers had a huge year for the Calgary Stampeders this past season. He finished the season with a league-leading 1,448 yards, fourth with 87 receptions, and tied for the league lead with 10 receiving touchdowns. Rogers spent a brief amount of time in the NFL, signing with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of California Lutheran in 2013.
