Tony Jerod-Eddie started his San Francisco 49ers and NFL career with low expectations as an undrafted free agent in 2012. He has progressed substantially during his time in the NFL, however, and played in all 16 games for each of the past two seasons.
The 49ers re-signed Tony Jerod-Eddie this offseason to a relatively low-priced one-year deal — despite reports that the 49ers were looking for a long-term extension. Jerod-Eddie’s one-year $1.3 million contract for next season is below the restricted free agent tender, however, which shows that the 49ers did well with the contract negotiations, even if they did not get a long-term deal.
