Brandon Thomas was nothing but disappointing in his first two seasons in the NFL. The San Francisco 49ers drafted the Clemson product in the third round back in 2014 as a classic Trent Baalke pick: i.e. a value pick who’s talent exceeds the draft slot for one reason or another. In Thomas’ case, the red flag was an ACL tear he sustained in college.
This injury, naturally, prevented Thomas from playing at all in his first season. Despite high expectations for 2015, Thomas again did next to nothing for his 49ers team.
