SANTA CLARA — As center Weston Richburg finally made his 2019 debut with the 49ers starting offense, it also was worth noting that rookie Deebo Samuel and Marquise Goodwin were the wide receivers on that simulated, initial snap in warmups at Monday’s practice.
Could that tandem emerge as the starting wide receivers, or the most utilized ones, when the 49ers open the season Sept. 8 at Tampa Bay?
Missing from Monday’s 45-minute practice were wide receivers Dante Pettis and Jalen Hurd, two other potential starters, as well as running back Jerick McKinnon (knee) and defensive end Nick Bosa (ankle).
