The San Francisco 49ers have been busy at work tweaking the back end of their 90-man offseason roster, and a few more deals went down on Monday.
Earlier in the day, the Niners announced deals for linebacker LaRoy Reynolds and undrafted free-agent running back Austin Walter, while waiving defensive lineman Ryan Delaire.
Recently, as announced on the team’s website, San Francisco claimed offensive guard Willie Beavers off waivers from the Chicago Bears, while waiving running back Matt Dayes to make room on the roster:
Beavers (6-5, 324) was originally drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the fourth round (121st overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft.
