The San Francisco 49ers are going to be hard pressed to pull off what would be a massive upset over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13.
But if they do, second-year running back Matt Breida will have to be a main reason why.
Breida has emerged as a top NFL threat on the ground this season, filling the void left by injured tailback Jerick McKinnon admirably. Despite dealing with a number of lingering injuries all year, the former undrafted free agent is still averaging 5.8 yards per carry, which ranks second among all qualifying tailbacks this deep into the season.
