In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month and in alignment with the 49ers Foundation’s mission to keep kids “Safe, On Track and In School,” ladies from the 49ers organization, including the significant others of 49ers coaches and players, visited Family & Children Services of Silicon Valley (FCSSV) on Thursday, October 15, to celebrate the resiliency and strength of those affected by domestic violence.
“Experiences like these build a sense of community for our clients,” explained Jill Howard-Maher, FCSSV director of positive solutions. “Especially because isolation is such a factor for our clients, they're always busy caring for their children or working.
