San Francisco 49ers tackle Trent Williams was ejected from Sunday’s NFC championship game after tossing an Eagles player into the ground during a post-play scuffle.
Williams was called for an unnecessary roughness penalty after body-slamming Philadelphia safety K’Von Wallace, who was holding onto wideout Deebo Samuel. The Eagles were comfortably up 31-7 in the fourth quarter, but neither Wallace nor cornerback Josh Jobe wanted to get their hands off of Samuel. After Niners lineman Aaron Banks tried and failed to get Wallace off of his teammate, in came Williams to put a pro wrestling move on the Philadelphia player.
