Right tackle Trent Brown won’t play against the Houston Texans, thrusting either Zane Beadles or rookie Darrell Williams into the 49ers starting lineup for quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo’s encore.
Brown missed the Nov. 26 loss to the Seattle Seahawks because of a shoulder injury but returned last Sunday and played the entirety of the 49ers’ 15-14 win at Chicago.
