Week 2 of the San Francisco 49ers‘ 2018 version of training camp is in the books, and the Niners will enjoy a much-needed players’ day off on Saturday, Aug. 4 before resuming activities the following Sunday.
The first week of camp was interesting, to say the least, with cornerback Richard Sherman donning pads for the first time since injuring his Achilles last year with the Seattle Seahawks. He had some question marks early in camp before showcasing why he’s, well… Sherman.
Related note, Sherman suffered an apparent hamstring injury on day eight, although indications are that it’s not serious.
