The San Francisco 49ers welcome the Los Angeles Rams to Levi’s Stadium this Sunday, and it will be a big day for the 49ers organization. It is the organization’s annual Alumni Weekend, and they will unveil statues outside of Levi’s Stadium of Joe Montana and Dwight Clark to commemorate The Catch.
The statues will each weigh 350 pounds and be placed 23 yards apart, which is how far apart they were for the play on January 10, 1982. Clark’s figure will have his hands outstretched and be extended 11 feet in the air.
The 49ers players will also be wearing their new white throwback uniforms, introduced in May.
