There’s usually a small waive of NFL free agency moves following the NFL Draft, and the San Francisco 49ers are making something of a low-key one on Wednesday by grabbing veteran tight end Levine Toilolo.
Interestingly enough, Toilolo was one of Niner Noise’s under-the-radar free-agent suggestions from earlier this offseason.
News of the pending transaction was first reported by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, who reported Toilolo would be signed after successfully passing a physical:
The #49ers are expected to sign former #Falcons and #Lions TE Levine Toilolo today, source said, pending his physical.
