The team is expected to meet with Maryland defensive back Sean Davis, according to NFL reporter Aaron Wilson. Davis visits, workouts, or private meetings or dinner with 18 teams around the league. Wilson did not specify what kind of meeting Davis has with the 49ers.
Davis has spent time at both cornerback and safety in his career.
