The San Francisco 49ers will be honoring wide receiver Terrell Owens this fall, formally inducting him into the franchise’s Edward DeBartolo Sr. Hall of Fame. He will get to don a red coat to join the gold coat he received from the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018.
I don’t think many of us would have pictured this kind of reconciliation when TO forced his way out of town back in 2004. It was an ugly divorce, but time has healed the wounds. He retired with the second best numbers in franchise history, and his career numbers are among the best ever.
