Niners tight end Je’Ron Hamm was carted off the field about 30 minutes before today’s kickoff against the Seahawks after he sustained a leg injury that required an air cast in pregame warmups.
Without Hamm, Garrett Celek and Jim Dray, who was signed Dec. 19, are the only tight ends on their 46-man roster for today’s game. The 49ers’ starting tight end, Vance McDonald, is on injured reserve.
Meanwhile, as expected, left tackle Joe Staley is active today after missing the past three games with a hamstring injury.
The 49ers’ inactives are: QB Blaine Gabbert, RB Mike Davis, CB Prince Charles-Iworah, G Andrew Tiller, DT Tony Jerod-Eddie, LB Tank Carradine and DL Zach Moore.
