The 49ers may be in the Super Bowl on Sunday, but that apparently doesn’t mean the NFL is interested in having television viewers be reminded of the political viewpoints of San Francisco’s controversial former quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
PETA said the NFL rejected its 60-second animated commercial that uses Kaepernick’s social justice movement’s signature gesture of taking a knee to illustrate the animal rights organization’s own cause.
THIS is the PETA #SuperBowl ad the @NFL apparently didn’t want you to see and pressured @FOXSports to snub.
It envisions a world where respect is the right of every being and pays homage to Kaepernick and movements rejecting injustice.
