Earlier this week, the San Francisco 49ers STEAM Education Program was in Anaheim for the 4th Annual 2016 California STEM Symposium to present on the franchise’s multi-dimensional STEAM Education Program – tying the game of football to concepts rooted in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM).
Now in its fourth year, the 2016 California STEM Symposium is an opportunity for educators from across California and around the country to come together, learn from each other, and leave with lessons and inspiration to take back home.
As part of the team’s presence, 49ers representatives including director of STEAM Education & 49ers Museum Jesse Lovejoy and vice president and executive director of Community Relations and the 49ers Foundation Joanne Pasternack participated in a series of speaking opportunities to highlight the 49ers education efforts throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
