SAN JOSE — Two months after he was arrested in Los Gatos on suspicion of domestic violence and having an assault rifle, Santa Clara County prosecutors have filed multiple felony charges against San Francisco 49ers star linebacker Reuben Foster, authorities announced Thursday.
Foster, 24, was charged with felony domestic violence against his live-in girlfriend in an alleged attack that investigators say left her with a ruptured eardrum, according to a news release from the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office.
According to prosecutors, the woman told police that Foster “dragged her by her hair, physically threw her out of the house, and punched her in the head 8 to 10 times.
