SANTA CLARA -- When Carlos Hyde missed the 49ers' Oct. 23 game against the Buccaneers, the running backs snaps were mostly evenly distributed among backups DuJuan Harris, Shaun Draughn and Mike Davis. Not on Sunday. Harris took the lion's share of the snaps -- both running and passing plays -- in the game. He played 53 of the team's 60 offensive snaps. Davis played eight snaps and fumbled on one of his two carries. Draughn was limited to special teams.
Harris also had a late-game fumble. But he excelled with the ball in his hand, averaging 5.9 yards a carry and more than 16 yards a reception.
