Below the 49ers is the New Orleans Saints at 5-10. Then, three teams at 4-11: the New York Jets, Carolina Panthers, and Chicago Bears.
The easiest and least complicated way for the 49ers to improve draft positioning is to lose this week to the Detroit Lions and next week against the Arizona Cardinals.
