Alex Flanagan of NFL Network reports that the 49ers have agreed to terms with veteran K Robbie Gould.
Gould, 35, originally signed on with the Patriots back in 2005 as an undrafted free agent, but he lasted just a few months in New England before joining the Ravens briefly and later signing on with the Bears.
Gould was in the fourth year of his five-year, $17.925 million contract when he was released by the Bears at the start of last season. He later signed a one-year deal with the Giants.
In 2016, Gould appeared in 10 games and converted all 10 of his field goal attempts and 20 of 23 extra point tries.
