The San Francisco 49ers have reportedly added some depth to their wide receiver and returner depth chart. NFL Network reporter Rand Getlin tweeted that the 49ers have signed Keshawn Martin to a two-year contract. The 49ers worked out Martin a couple weeks ago.
Martin started his career with the Houston Texans as a fourth round pick in 2012. After three seasons, the Texans traded Martin and a sixth round pick to the New England Patriots for a fifth round pick. In 2015, Martin appeared in nine games, catching 24 passes for 269 yards and two touchdowns.
