49ers Sign Veteran DL Leger Douzable

The San Francisco 49ers announced Monday that they’ve signed DL Leger Douzable to a contract, per Mike Garafolo.

Douzable worked out for the 49ers today along with Ricardo Matthews.

Douzable, 31, originally signed on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of UCF back in 2008. Since then, he has played for a number of teams including the Giants, Rams, Lions, Jaguars, and Titans before joining the Jets as an unrestricted free agent in March of 2014.

The Jets brought him back on a one-year contract the following year before Douzable moved on and signed a one-year deal with the Bills in June of last year.
