The 49ers have signed defensive lineman Tony McDaniel, 32, and Leger Douzable, 31, two days after Arik Armstead sustained a broken hand that officially landed him on injured reserve Tuesday.
To make room for the other roster spot, the 49ers released Logan Paulsen, 30, who didn’t have a catch in six games after he was signed in March.
McDaniel is a 12-year veteran who has made 48 starts in a four-team career that includes 160 tackles and 11.5 sacks. Last year, he made 10 starts and had 43 tackles in his second stint with the Seahawks.
Douzable was with the 49ers for their final three preseason games this sumemr before he was among their final roster cuts.
