The San Francisco 49ers have re-signed RB Shaun Draughn to a one-year deal.
“Shaun did a heck of a job for us last year despite joining the team in the middle of the season,” said 49ers general manager Trent Baalke. “He certainly earned the respect of everyone in our organization for the way he handled himself, both on and off the field, and we are excited to have him back.”
Draughn (5-11, 205) originally signed with the 49ers as a free agent on November 2, 2015. He started six games for the team last season and registered career highs in rushes (76), rushing yards (263), receptions (25) and receiving yards (175), prior to being placed on the Injured Reserve List with a knee injury.
