The San Francisco 49ers signed one of the three offensive linemen they worked out Thursday afternoon.
Center Pat Elfein was signed to a one-year deal. The former third-rounder was drafted No. 70 overall by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2017 NFL Draft. He has appeared in 65 regular season games, including 64 starts. Elfein also has postseason experience, where he started four games. Outside of Minnesota, Elfein has also played with the New York Jets in 2020 and the Carolina Panthers from 2021-2022. He was on the All-Rookie team in 2017, where he started 14 games at center.
