The San Francisco 49ers signed a new long snapper on Wednesday amidst other roster moves.
The San Francisco 49ers had a pretty busy day on Wednesday despite it being just a typical practice day. Along with some key injury decisions, the team also announced a flurry of roster moves.
One of those moves was the addition of a brand new long snapper.
The 49es officially announced that they had waived the incumbent Kyle Nelson and signed his replacement, 26-year-old Taybor Pepper.
Nelson has spent the last seven years with the 49ers after joining the team in 2014.
