San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch isn’t quite done with tweaking the team’s roster via free agency, adding linebacker Jayson DiManche to a one-year deal.
News of the transaction was first reported Friday morning via the team’s website.
DiManche joined the NFL ranks as an undrafted free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2013. Cincinnati parted ways with him in 2015, and DiManche spent time with the Kansas City Chiefs and Cleveland Browns before returning to the Bengals’ practice squad in January 2016.
The Detroit Lions picked him up in August that same year but released him the following September.
