The San Francisco 49ers have added some running back depth while they figure out Shaun Draughn's status. We break down what it means.
The San Francisco 49ers have made a roster move to shore up their running back depth. The team announced on Tuesday that they have signed running back DuJuan Harris, and waived running back Travaris Cadet.
The signing comes two days after Shaun Draughn suffered a knee injury against the Cincinnati Bengals. Matt Maiocco reported he was hearing it was not a serious injury, but the team would be looking for some insurance. Cadet was a solid enough fill-in after Draughn's injury, but he is best suited as a third-down back.
