49ers sign CFL offensive tackle to reserve/future contract

The San Francisco 49ers have added a Canadian Football League talent to their roster for the coming offseason. Offensive tackle Colin Kelly agreed to a reserve/future contract following two seasons with the Ottawa Redblacks, according to Jayson Braddock.

Kelly attended Oregon State, and signed as an undrafted free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013. He suffered a knee injury that summer, and spent the season on injured reserve. He was released the following spring, and ended up joining the CFL. He was nominated for the league's most outstanding rookie award in 2014.
