The San Francisco 49ers announced Tuesday that they have signed C Brian Folkerts and WR Andrew Turzilli to the team’s practice squad.
Folkerts (6-4, 310) was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by New Orleans on May 7, 2012. He was waived by the Saints on August 27, 2012, later signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad on September 3, 2012, and was waived the following day. On May 13, 2013, he signed with the Carolina Panthers, was waived by the team on September 19, 2013, and later signed with the team’s practice squad on September 21, 2013.
