A big feature from The Athletic’s Kalyn Kahler dropped Wednesday, diving deep into Kyle Shanahan and his father Mike’s “surveillance state” system when it comes to coaching. It’s something that apparently that has roots all the way back to a different 49ers head coach, Bill Walsh.
As the story goes, Walsh used to film his own teaching sessions to help speed up the learning process for new coaches and players.
