The 49ers High School Player of the Week Award for week 2 goes to Tyree Bracy of Milpitas High School in Milpitas, CA.
In what became the talk of the CCS all week long, Milpitas High School pulled off a stunning statement win over No. 2 ranked Antioch High School Friday night, defeating the Panthers 49-28. The Trojans’ offense, led by the astounding play of junior quarterback Tyree Bracy, was just too much for powerhouse Antioch to handle this time around.
Bracy, in his first season as starting quarterback for the Trojans, went 11-21 on the night, throwing five touchdowns and rushing for a sixth, accounting for just over 300 total yards.
