Mike Triplett of ESPN is reporting that the 49ers have scheduled a visit with free agent RB Tim Hightower for Thursday.
This is the first reported interest in Hightower since the free agent market officially opened last week.
Hightower, 30, is a former fifth-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2008. He spent three years in Arizona before signing on with the Redskins in 2011.
Injuries got the best of Hightower and led to him being out of the league for three years before he signed on with the Saints back in 2015.
