Right tackle Anthony Davis’ comeback from a year hiatus is going quite well, and Wednesday it involved practicing on the 49ers’ original home field of Kezar Stadium.
“The bathrooms in there were from like the 1940s, and I thought that was cool,” Davis said after practice. “Some greats played in here and set the foundation for our organization, so I think that’s cool.”
Speaking of nostalgia, Davis is trying to re-establish himself as one of the NFL’s best right tackles. But he hasn’t had a chance to do so yet on the first-string unit, for the first time in his career.
