At 2-5, the 2015 San Francisco 49ers aren’t going to be making any playoff plans this season at all. Their season is done and, aside from a possible spoiler role, there are few reasons the franchise should be playing for anything else but pride.

Yes, the 49ers’ recent offseason was a disaster. Hours could be spent discussing the players and coaches lost and how each departure hurt the now lackluster franchise. But an even greater focal point should be how the team formulates next season.
To put things shortly, San Francisco needs to go with a youth movement across the board and wherever possible.
