49ers rookie report: Tariq Ahmad and RJ Gillen deserve a ton of credit for this class

Former San Francisco 49ers assistant general manager Adam Peters was widely regarded as one of the best talent evaluators in the NFL during his tenure in the Bay Area. Under Peters, the Niners have found star players in seemingly every round, and those players are the primary reason this team continues to compete every season for a Super Bowl.

Peters, now the general manager of the Washington Commanders, looks like he knocked another draft out of the park, thanks to their prolific quarterback, Jayden Daniels. Add in a few under-the-radar free-agent signings, and Washington has the third-best record in the NFC a month and a half into the season.
