The buzz surrounding Robert Saleh’s viability as an NFL head coach started early in the 2019 season. Now that the regular season is over, that buzzing is getting louder.
The Browns have asked the 49ers for permission to interview Saleh for their vacant head coaching position, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter Monday morning. It’s not clear yet whether the 49ers will grant that request, or if Saleh is interested in the job.
