Rookie inside linebacker Reuben Foster will play today against the Cowboys at Levi’s Stadium for the first time since he sustained a high ankle sprain in the season opener on Sept. 10.
Foster returned to practice last week and has been limited in each of the six sessions since he came back. Inside linebackers Ray-Ray Armstrong (shoulder) and Brock Coyle (shoulder), who were questionable, are both active and Armstrong will presumably start alongside Foster.
Meanwhile, undrafted rookie wide receiver Kendrick Bourne is active for the first time since Week 1, and rookie wideout Victor Bolden Jr. is inactive.
