Reuben Foster’s misdemeanor charge for marijuana possession was dismissed Friday after the 49ers inside linebacker paid court costs, a $100 bail bond fee and completed a pre-trial diversion program, Tuscaloosa (Ala.) County District Attorney Hays Webb said.
Foster, 24, who was arrested in Tuscaloosa in January, could still face NFL discipline as part of its substance abuse policy. Foster failed a drug test at the 2017 NFL combine for submitting a diluted sample, and that failed test could also be factored into a potential suspension.
