49ers reportedly sign two of NFL’s fastest WRs to temporarily replace Deebo Samuel

The San Francisco 49ers reportedly plan to sign former Arizona Cardinals and Oakland Raiders receiver J.J. Nelson as well as former Los Angeles Rams and Dallas Cowboys receiver/kick returner Tavon Austin, pending physicals.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that second-year receiver Deebo Samuel is "likely to miss the start of the season" after suffering a broken left foot during informal workouts with teammates in June. General manager John Lynch had previously stated, "It's fair to say that he may miss some games early in the year."

Austin and Nelson have something in common: they're both extremely fast.
