49ers reportedly moving on from Paraag Marathe as team president

San Francisco 49ers team president Paraag Marathe is coming to an end, according to both Cam Inman and Tim Kawakami of the San Jose Mercury News and Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area.

Marathe will reportedly stay on with the 49ers as its primary cap guy and lead contract negotiator, reported Maiocco. In addition, Marathe will keep the title of team president and his present duties will not change until the Super Bowl, according to the reports.

Marathe has been the president for just under two years. Al Guido is mentioned in the Inman and Kawakami report as having taken on a larger role of late.
