Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the 49ers are releasing veteran CB Leon Hall on Thursday.
Hall, 32, is a former first-round pick of the Bengals back in 2007. He spent nine years of his NFL career with the Bengals before signing a one-year contract with the Giants last August.
Hall signed on with the 49ers a few weeks ago, so his stay in San Francisco was short-lived.
In 2016, Hall appeared in 12 games and recorded 31 tackles, two sacks, an interception, a forced fumble and two pass defenses for the Giants.
