The San Francisco 49ers didn’t make any moves leading up to the 2018 NFL trade deadline. But there are a couple of roster moves of note.
Less than two hours after the 4 p.m. ET, Oct. 30 trade deadline passed, the Niners announced that they waived wide receiver Victor Bolden Jr. and defensive back Greg Mabin.
Bolden, an undrafted free agent who joined San Francisco in 2017, caught just one pass on four attempts for 10 yards earlier this season — Week 5 against the Arizona Cardinals. After primarily being featured as a kick returner his rookie year, Bolden was not used in that same capacity this season.
