The San Francisco 49ers made a couple roster moves on Monday as they head into their bye week. The team released defensive lineman Tony McDaniel, and placed practice squad offensive lineman J.P. Flynn, according to NBC Sports Bay Area’s Matt Maiocco.
The McDaniel release likely will coincide with the return of Tank Carradine. The 49ers placed Carradine on injured reserve after Week 3, and he is eligible to return for Week 12 against the Seattle Seahawks. He has been practicing the past week, and will continue practicing this coming week.
