The San Francisco 49ers are moving on from veteran offensive lineman Zane Beadles.
News of the move was made public on the team’s website Monday.
Beadles, 31 years old, joined the Niners on a three-year deal ahead of the 2016 season. His full cap hit would have been at $4.08 million, and San Francisco saves $3.5 million this season with his release.
General manager John Lynch had the following to say about Beadles, as noted on the news report:
