The San Francisco 49ers announced Wednesday that they’ve released C Jeremy Zuttah and signed LB Sean Porter to a contract.
Zuttah, 31, is a former third-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2008. He spent six seasons in Tampa Bay before he was traded to the Ravens in 2014 for a fifth-round pick that eventually became WR Kenny Bell.
Zuttah is in the third year of his five-year, $18 million contract that included $6.5 million guaranteed and set to make a base salary of $3.5 million for the 2017 season.
