The San Francisco 49ers have released tight end Bruce Miller following his arrest on assault charges. Miller was arrested Sunday evening (or early Monday morning) following a bizarre incident at a San Francisco hotel in which he allegedly went to the wrong room, attacked a guest who told him he was at the wrong room, and also attacked the guest’s father, sending both to the hotel.
This is Miller’s second arrest in the past year-and-a-half. He was arrested on spousal battery charges a year ago spring after an incident with his then fiancee. He eventually pled out to a misdemeanor disturbing the peace charge, and went through a 16-week domestic violence program.
