Shon Coleman is getting another shot as a 49ers offensive tackle, having had his 2019 season wiped out by a gruesome injury in the exhibition opener.
Coleman re-signed Monday on a one-year deal before hitting unrestricted free agency Wednesday.

The 49ers’ depth at offensive tackle was severely tested last season amid injuries to starters Joe Staley (fibula, thumb) and Mike McGlinchey (knee), and although Justin Skule and Daniel Brunskill gained acclaim as temporary replacements, Coleman figured to serve as the No. 3 tackle before his injury.
